Drew's birthday is on December 20th. Drew was such a selfless and thoughtful person who made it a habit of always doing nice things for others whenever he got the chance. Some of our best memories of Drew are of him trying to brighten someone else's day, even a perfect stranger, just because he felt it was the right thing to do....regardless of if they deserved it, and never wanting any attention or praise for it. So over the years, we have decided to honor Drew and celebrate his birthday in a way that would be special and significant by performing random acts of kindness on that day the way that Drew used to often do. Instead of us feeling uneasy about the approaching day and the emotions that might come with it, this gives us all something to be excited about and an anxiousness as we watch to see how God can use this. There are so many of us walking around with bracelets and shirts on that say LIVE LIKE DREW....what better way to celebrate his birthday than to do just that! The Live Like Drew Foundation would like to extend the challenge again this year to anyone that is reading this that would like to help us honor Drew on his birthday to please pray about an act of kindness that they could do on or around December 20th.
